  • Step 1: Apply the Grain Copier Filler evenly using a palette knife to the affected areas.
  • Step 2: Place the grain pad over the repaired area, followed by a layer of Teflon paper.
  • Step 3: Use a heat iron to cure the filler.
  • Step 4: Clean the surface with alcohol cleaner before applying the new leather paint.
  • Use a palette knife to thinly apply the filler. Avoid excessive applying to prevent ridges.
  •  Ensure the edges are smooth. 
  •  Place a graining matt over the filler, then Teflon paper to protect it.
  • Heat with a medium setting heat iron. Avoid overheating to prevent damage.
  • Do not remove the matt during curing. Carefully lift a corner to check for curing.
  •  After heating, place a cooling bar over the surface until cool, then repeat the heating process, if necessary.
  • Remove any excess filler immediately to prevent unwanted ridges. 
  •  Wipe the area with alcohol cleaner to prepare for dye or colour application or finishing steps.
