  • Step 1: Clean the area with a leather prep solution and secure any loose fibres with glue.
  • Step 2: Then, apply fillers in small layers, allowing each layer to dry fully before adding more.
  • Step 3: Sand down any excess filler, if necessary, for a seamless finish.
  • Ensure the area is fully prepped, before using fillers. Lightly sand rough spots with 1200 paper or 280 foam pads, then wipe with alcohol cleaner.
  • For torn piping or protruding bits, glue them in place and let dry. Lightly sand again.
  • Use a spatula to apply thin layers of filler, brushing to shape if needed. Let the filler dry entirely between applications.
  • Mix pigment paints (up to 10%) into the filler for better blending, if desired. Apply as usual for a natural finish.
  • Smooth out any surplus filler using either 1200 sandpaper or 280 foam pads.
  • Avoid over-application to prevent difficulty in sanding.
  • Not suitable for aniline leathers unless mixed with aniline dye.
  • Keep lids closed when not in use to prevent drying.
