  • Various types of leather including two tone, vegan, aniline
  • Step 1: Begin by shaking the bottle well.
  • Step 2: Squeeze the Fibre Binder onto a sponge.
  • Step 3: Gently dab the binder onto the surface and allow it to dry.

Step 4: Once dry, proceed to sand the surface and apply colourant as necessary.

  • Fibre Binder only requires one or two coats to work.
  • Ensure the initial coat penetrates into the fibres or cracks by generously applying the binder with a sponge.
  • While the surface is still wet, apply a second coat by stippling it on to cover the entire area and seal the surface.
  • Expect the exposed fibres to darken as the binder soaks in, indicating proper functionality.
  • Allow the binder to dry naturally or use a hairdryer.
  • Once fully cured, sand the surface using a 280-grit foam sanding pad, which is safer for leather surfaces.
  • Utilise a terry towel dampened with alcohol cleaner to wipe off any remaining dust.
  • Proceed with the application of either heavy filler or flexi filler repair compounds as needed and colour the repaired area as usual.
